Cozi went to Burning Man in 1999 September as a member of ‘ Zavtone ‘ magazine camp with many friends from all over the world including Hideyo Blackmoon, Ariel Electron ( X-Dream ), Tsuyoshi Suzuki( Matsuri-Records ), Jun ( Organix ). Camp was formed by 40 people or so, and there were 2 massive camping buses and many tents around it for 10 days camp-in in the middle of Black Rock desert / Nevada ( U.S.A ). Condition was very tough as the temperature was so high with brazing sun in the day time and then dropped to the freezing cold once sun goes down, plus frequent sand storms. It was still early years of Burning Man with 25,000 people camping in, and a simple wooden structure of Man’s statue and estimated 100 sound systems including Blue Room ( Iconic indie Psychill record label ) dome.
Any real money usage was strictly banned except Burning Man’s official cafeteria that opens 24 hours a day during the week, and attendees had to exchange their creativity – Such as arts or performance ( Dance or musical live & singing ), poetic reading or simply just being cool or ridiculous – to get the foods or drinks or whatever you want from other people. Later she recalled 10 days experience and said it had set the life philosophy of her for the rest of the life, which live as an artist and seeking the way of living by the various creative activities.

After returning from Burning Man, She wrote Science Fiction alike story ‘ A Diary of Geisha=borg Agent ~ Borg goes to Burning Man 1999 Festival ‘ for Tokyo / San Fransisco based Techno Magazine ‘ Zavtone ‘.
